Ducati has officially begun testing the next evolution of its WorldSBK machine – the 2026 Panigale V4-R – with Michele Pirro taking it out for its debut laps at Misano. The new bike introduces a range of updates, many of which draw heavily from MotoGP-derived technology, signaling a clear shift toward race-first engineering.
One of the most noticeable upgrades is the new double-sided swingarm, replacing the single-sided unit used in previous years. The chassis has been completely revised, and new aerodynamic air intakes at the bottom of the fairing aim to increase ground effect and stability.
